That is what I have been doing for the last few days. No, I don't have a new job nor suddenly needed the services, I am in tech, once again. We have been stuck in the "South African Whorehouse" scene for quite a while. It's a really dark scene, so it makes knitting in the dark even harder. On a side note, I didn't pick a good project to knit doe "near blackness". The Citrus Lozenge socks are too complicated to just knit away. I need to at least occasionally look at them to make sure my count is correct. Sigh.
I did manage to get some finished though. I've turned the heel and completed the gusset of sock #1. I have about 3.5" to go before I love to the toe. Not too bad. My only reservation about the pattern is the lack of a reinforced heel. I can't decide of it will wear out too fast. Hopefully DH will be nice to them!
Speaking of DH, I sure hope he doesn't find out about Evad! Boy, would he be sore if he knew about my new boyfriend...
I promise a Post with pictures tomorrow. For some reason, theatre people object to flash photography while they are trying to work. Go figure.

Don't worry about your DH, I know all his weak spots and I am 84.36578% sure I can take him in the schedualed pit fight. However if he does win you might really be knitting by brothel light. He says if he catches you cheating he will sell you to South Asian slavers, and you know how they love busty blondes.
Evad
Boy Costumechick, it sounds as though you and Evad have quite a history and if you're husband finds out your in big trouble!
;-)
Brothel knitting? A new location for SnB? SnB splinter group? You could invite Evad. We won't tell.
