My first "real" post

It is really wierd to send your thoughts out into cyberspace for all to see. I'm not even a diary kind of gal. I guess I just want to have a little place in the world to brag.

So I'm going to start.

Presenting my Adamas Shawl, designed by Miriam Felton for KnitPicks. It is made out of 2 skeins of Knitpicks Shadow, Sunset colorway; on #5 needles.

It took me about a month, along with my giant sock project and my lace table runner and placemat project. So I really don't know how much time it took, but it did cause DH to ask when I was going to be done with "that".

I am new at this, obviously, so you'll have to bear with the sideways pics.

I love close ups of lace. It makes me all warm and gooey.

These lovely pics of my feet (eww) are to show off my current "take along" project: Child's first Sock from Nancy Bush's "Knitting Vintage Socks" in Knitpicks Essential, grass Colorway.

Wow. I need a pedicure.

I suppose that is all for now. I'll see if I can get around to taking pictures of all of my Projects from this year. Maybe I can find out how to do some of those nifty graphs that chart your WIP progress.

Whoo hoo! First comment! I RULE!

Not as much as your Adamas though. It looks amazing! Isn't Miriam's pattern the best? Did you do that with KP's Shadow? It looks like Shadow in Vineyard which is what my Adamas will be done in providing I ever end up with a spare moment to pick up a new lace project.

Yes, it is Shadow. This pattern is awsome. I might make another for a friend for Christmas.

And thanks for being my first comment!
